Black beach (blue)

A view from the beach of the mass of water that pulls the sand into the sea. It's forming into a giant wave and it's about to break. It will return to its wholeness again with the sound of the shifting sand. Inspired by a black beach in Iceland that I want to visit in the future. Acrylic is combined with sand to create an authentic beach texture. This contrasts with the smooth turquoise water. The bubbles on the sand are created by the use of silicone oil.

The acrylic painting 100×70 cm has a final protective spray. The painting is signed in the lower right corner. The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame, it is colored also on the side and has a jagged hinge. So all you have to do is hang it on a nail!
