Kintsugi Clock
Kintsuji is a Japanese technique of joining broken pottery with gold. The broken pieces become even more valuable as a whole. And in doing so, the original broken item becomes timeless. It is said that the Japanese also broke their pottery on purpose so that they could then "glue" it together using the Kintsugi technique.
The acrylic painting has a final protective spray and is signed at the bottom. The canvas is glued on machine glue and inserted into a functional circular clock Ø 30 cm. The clock is powered by one classic pencil battery and has a hole for hanging. So all you have to do is hang it on a nail!
