Pink lake

A pink lake with unusually salty water. The protruding wooden stakes are covered with a crust of salt crystals after the water evaporates. The pink colour of the lake is given by algae that don't live anywhere else. It's as if the whole lake has blossomed. It is in Ukraine, which hopefully we will be able to visit again soon. The 50×70 cm acrylic painting is finished with a final protective spray and signed in the lower right corner. The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame, it is coloured also on the side and has a jagged hinge. So all you have to do is hang it on a nail!
